About Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone is a California native, growing up in Southern California, he spent his early years riding motorcycles and playing lead guitar for the early 2000's band "Bluefield". He graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology, then earned his MD from University of California Irvine, and trained in orthopaedic surgery at the world-renowned LAC+USC (LA County General Hospital) in Los Angeles. He then continued  surgical training in shoulder and elbow reconstruction at the premiere Thomas Jefferson University/Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, PA. His clinical practice in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery continued at the Top Ranked Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics. Dr. Stone is a national leader in shoulder and elbow surgery with dozens upon dozens of published academic peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and presentations. He has presented his work at national and international conferences, and has trained and mentored dozens of surgical residents and fellows in orthopaedic surgery. He is well respected amongst his peers and continues to stay at the cutting edge of surgical advancements and innovations in minimally invasive and reconstructive shoulder surgery. He is currently away from his surgical practice on Sabbatical leave, and enjoying time with this family.
