Dr. Stone is a California native, growing up in Yorba Linda, California, he spent his early years riding dirtbikes and playing rock and roll music in his high school band, "Bluefield". He graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology, then earned his MD from UC Irvine, and went on to train orthopaedic surgery at the world-renowned trauma hospital LAC+USC in Los Angeles. He then continued his surgical training in shoulder and elbow reconstruction at the premiere Thomas Jefferson University/Rothman Orthopaedic Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He now continues his exciting and excellent clinical practice in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Top Ranked Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Stone continues to be a leader in the field of shoulder and elbow surgery and continues to publish academic peer reviewed research, present at national and international conferences, and maintains an active role in training residents and fellows in both medicine and orthopaedic surgery. He is well respected amongst his peers and continues to stay at the cutting edge of surgical advancements and innovations in minimally invasive and reconstructive shoulder surgery.
